About Me

I'm a Brunei-based visual artist and graphic designer with more than a decade of multifaceted experience in branding, creative direction, and apparel design. My creative path was forged from an early love of drawing and storytelling, turning passion into practice over the years. That childhood sketchbook evolved into a career that blends curiosity with precision, and artistry with strategic intent.

I specialize in developing impactful brand identities and expressive apparel graphics. My design philosophy emphasizes clean aesthetics, meaningful communication, and emotional resonance—always grounded in the unique needs of each client. With experience spanning print, digital, and merchandise, I strive to build design systems that feel as intuitive as they are visually striking.

Currently, I lead the Silkscreen Printing Department at Aewon Garment & Embroidery, ensuring high-quality execution across a variety of textile applications. Simultaneously, I pursue freelance design commissions, creating logos, brand kits, and graphic solutions for public, educational, and private sectors. I remain passionate about pushing the creative envelope, while building work that informs, inspires, and endures.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Head of Silkscreen Department

Aewon Garment & Embroidery | 2022 – Present

Appointed to lead the silkscreen division, where I supervise all production phases—from pre-press preparation to post-print finishes. I ensure quality control, train junior staff, and work cross-functionally with creative and production teams. My side work includes designing commissioned pieces for NGOs, schools, government entities, and individuals, reflecting my continuous hands-on engagement in design.

Head of Creative Design

Aewon Garment & Embroidery | 2014 – 2022

Directed visual strategy and content creation for branded merchandise, institutional campaigns, uniforms, and promotional materials. Oversaw a team of designers, orchestrated end-to-end creative production, and delivered over 20 major branding projects. Built long-term visual identities for clients including national sports teams, ministries, and corporate entities.

Began my professional journey in hospitality, with roles ranging from dishwasher and waiter to banquet butler and in-flight operations staff. The discipline, precision, and customer awareness cultivated during this time continue to influence my work ethic and creative standards.
